Booker has been attacking Biden on twitter ever since the debates. Biden knows this. He will be ready for Booker.

I knew then Booker was working himself up to a debate 2 strategy after Harris spiked in the polls. Booker doesn't have anything to lose with his numbers parked in the basement. And now the comments on Joe's criminal justice reform proposal have turned negative. So-o-o be prepared for incoming!!

What Biden's campaign has done is send a preemptive parcel Booker's way, let him deal with the fallout of his own history and also acknowledge that not punching down does not mean no punching back when it comes to defending a record. Biden has admitted he was surprised by Kamala Harris' ambush. I don't think we'll see a repeat of that on the second round.
