Last edited Thu Mar 14, 2019, 09:07 AM - Edit history (2)

This chart shows that Dems lead the generic presidential ballot by 49% to 40% over Trump, and then takes a look a current net favorables of each of the potential Dem candidates

I apologize to those of you who can’t view embedded tweets in DU threads. Here’s a link to jpeg of the chart in the tweet., and a copy and paste of the text

Harry Enten writes: YouGov's latest poll: Dems lead the generic prez ballot by 49% to 40% over Trump, but none of the candidates (save Biden) have a positive net favorable score. (Schultz has by far the worst.) Most are not well known, & I'd bet a lot that this understates the "don't know" for many.

for right now.

It's going to be a long year for us who are interested this early on in all Democratic Candidates.

It's only going to be the most important election of our lives.. since the last most important one did Not go our way.

he is a known quantity and most people have memorized his stump speech and few talking points already.

It is all downhill for him now .... with no brakes.

Other candidates have a lot of room to grow.
