We have 16 candidates at the moment

We have 16 candidates at the moment. Andrew Gillum is supposed to announce next week which will make it 17.

Here are the 9 candidates who have yet to announce if they will run or not.

Stacey Abrams, Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives 2011–2017; Democratic nominee for Governor of Georgia in 2018

Michael Bennet, U.S. Senator from Colorado since 2009

Joe Biden, Vice President of the United States 2009–2017; U.S. Senator from Delaware 1973–2009; candidate for President in 1988 and in 2008

Steve Bullock, Governor of Montana since 2013

Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York City since 2014

Terry McAuliffe, Governor of Virginia 2014–2018

Seth Moulton, U.S. Representative from Massachusetts since 2015

Tim Ryan, U.S. Representative from Ohio since 2003

Eric Swalwell, U.S. Representative from California since 2013

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I think Biden and Swalwell are the most likely, from that list, to add their name in. NRaleighLiberal Mar 2019 #1

The DNC has a good plan for equitable representation at the primaries, even with huge participation (no kiddy-table debates like the GOP had).

As an Undecided who is extremely proud of the great selection of candidates we have, I'd like to see even more people run... maybe one for each state, like the Miss America Contest!

I'm impressed with the candidates and potential candidates that we have. It is a tough decision. Fortunately, the primaries are a year away so I have time to research the best candidate.

It is a million times better then the 17 candidates who ran for the republican primary in 2016.

Well, a few of the younger candidates could pull it off. But since we'll all have to poke our own eyes out at the sight of Biden and Bernie in Speedos, we'd never see the others anyway.

Yes, we have a long time to get better acquainted with all the candidates. In fact, one of the reasons I'm dedicated to remaining undecided a good long time is that my state's primary is relatively late in the schedule. It's quite a heartbreak to fall in love with a particular candidate early on, only to have him/her drop out of the race before your chance to vote.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
