The only way to get ahead of him is to attack him. Problem for those candidates is that he's so beloved in the party that attacking him hurts their popularity.

The attacks on Biden often end up hurting the attackers more than Biden. Its in poor taste and really bad politics.

I will vote for whoever is the Democratic nominee but I think Joe has the best chance in WI, MI, PA and maybe OH. I also really like him! His tone at this time is dead on.

None of the 7/30 (daytime) respondents would have seen the debatel some of the 7/31 respondents could have seen or heard/read about the first night; and only the 8/1 respondents could have seen/heard/read about both.

After the 2010 midterm elections, Nate Silver concluded that Rasmussen's polls were the least accurate of the major pollsters in 2010, having an average error of 5.8 points and a pro-Republican bias of 3.9 points according to Silver's model.

FiveThirtyEight currently rates Rasmussen Reports with a C+ grade and notes a simple average error of 5.3 percent across 657 polls analyzed.
