Where is Franken? How come he hasn't turned up on CNN or MSNBC as an analyst. Or even on one of the late night shows as a guest. Why has he completely disappeared?

He was so, so effective as a questioner, and was moving into a position of real power and gravitas. I'm never surprised that someone gets taken down just as they're becoming most effective.

Without defending John Edwards' behavior in any way, shape, or form, I noticed that his demise occurred mere DAYS after he said that we should heavily regulate pharmaceutical ads, which tells me that they were sitting on information about him, ready to pull it out at the opportune moment.

This is a pattern....

He can still represent MN on a state level, though.
