I am getting kind of tired of the "I got mine" attitude, so you shouldn't get any breaks.

We need to elect Democrats like Andrew Cuomo. They know how to get things done.

(230 posts)1. Student debt is no big deal.
The average debt is $25,000 and if the student signs up for income based repayment the debt will be canceled after 20-25 years. I paid for my college and they can pay for theirs.

(2,848 posts)9. Students need to be smart about debt because...
It can really mess up your life getting into too much debt early. When I graduated I had about 20k debt. It was manageable but I can't even fathom 100k or more. If you have that kind of debt you better have a 100k+ salary.
