The 33% TeaParty / MAGA base of the GOP are implacable enemies who will accept nothing less than total opposition to Democratic Presidents. Even token bi- Partishan votes are a one way to primary challenge.

Klobuchar’s allegedly browbeaten staff helped her co-sponsor 1,967 bills—more than any other senator except Connecticut’s Richard Blumenthal. Another study, conducted in 2016, ranked her No. 1 in the Senate in lending her name to bills that were enacted into law.

Comprehensive legislation. She shouldn't shy away from common ground. None of our candidates should. They should use it to our advantage.
