President Donald Trump trailed the two top Democratic rivals and was tied with two others in hypothetical matchups in Wisconsin, according to Wednesday's Marquette University Law School Poll.

"We're only in the second inning," poll director Charles Franklin cautioned.

He added: "These numbers are movable things on where we stand today but not predictions of the final outcome."

Snip...

The Marquette University Law School poll was conducted from August 25-29, 2019 among 800 registered Wisconsin voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.9 percentage points.

I prefer Biden, assuming he doesn't show signs of serious mental decline in the coming year. But I'm fine with Warren on her merits, and I actually think she is most likely to get the nomination.

So only tying Trump in Wisconsin does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. I care about beating Trump about 100x more than I care whether Biden or Warren is our nominee.
