Especially when one disqualifies oneself as an ethical journalist to the point of resorting to attempting to scrub one's own twitter history in an attempt to prevent further damage to their credibility.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/19/politics/bernie-sanders-hires-former-journalist/index.html

However there will always be paid work with ambitious politicians for those who are willing to, with a straight face, display to the media a stunning lack of self-awareness or irony in their statements.

See also Kellyanne Conway.

I just want to know where that concern is for people who have died as a result of the Trump team taking the White House, due in part to the efforts of "Never Hillary" Russia/GOP enablers like him.

That can quite reasonably be interpreted as "vote for someone else and people will die". It's not even remotely difficult to come to that conclusion.

He's implying that a Democrat would do no more than Republicans because they aren't true progressives. Only Bernie is a progressive and uncorrupted. Remember, Bernie repeatedly says the Democratic Party is corrupt and bought off by lobbyists and wealthy donors and Wall Street and that Bernie introduced progressive issues when he ran for president, that universal health care, higher minimum wage, taxing the wealthy and so on were "radical" ideas to "elite" "establishment" Democrats who ignore the working/middle classes/unions.

This is the sure sign of a desperate campaign... a campaign that's in trouble... a campaign whose staff and surrogates (and candidate) know and are fully aware that they have ZERO chance of being our party's nominee. This is a scorched-earth tactic that only serves to harm the party and benefit the GOP. What good purpose does that serve? As some sort of "punishment" for all those who rejected the BS promises of unicorns and rainbows? Seriously? If people are rejecting the candidate, there's a reason. It makes more sense for the staff (and surrogates) to look INWARD at their own problems and weaknesses than to blame (and threaten) others.

If the risk and observed consequences are smaller than the things it displaces, this follows:

I have gotten in trouble on other websites for stating this truth: Opposing nuclear energy is essentially murder, since nuclear energy saves lives.

Prevented Mortality and Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Historical and Projected Nuclear Power (Pushker A. Kharecha* and James E. Hansen Environ. Sci. Technol., 2013, 47 (9), pp 4889–4895)

It's pretty funny. The people who objected vociferously to this truth are the same people who used to prattle on about their love of science and in particular the science of one of the authors of this paper, Jim Hansen, until Jim Hansen said something that they didn't want to hear.

He was and is an attack dog against the Democratic party. Your optimism concerning his respect for Democratic Candidates is misplaced.

Now we know that around the time Sirota was launching attacks against Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and Beto O’Rourke, he was working for the Sanders campaign in an “advisory capacity.” For those of us who followed the response to those attacks on Twitter, we watched Sirota get incensed when challenged. He defended himself as an unbiased journalist merely reporting a story, all while ruthlessly attacking his opponents as “mentally incapacitated” or “positively unhinged.”

That's why he scrubbed his twitter account when it came out that he was working on the Sanders campaign - too many incriminating tweets.
