Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumOn the Stephanie Miller show this AM they were talking about why Warren seems to be taking off
and breaking away from the pack. They said she is kind of in the sweet spot between Biden (a bit too moderate for many) and Sanders (a bit too Progressive).
I think that is a good analysis.

(7,447 posts)But the other three candidates I think will still gather up a significant minority of delegates assuming Harris and Buttigieg stay in at least past Super Tuesday and Sanders will.
I think there's going to be some parliamentary style negotiating going on if neither Biden or Warren can reach critical mass on their own.

Not much, just five percent to help not freak out the normies
But yeah, she's definitely a compromise between too hard and too soft to use a Three Bears metaphor.

(7,277 posts)We are all going to find out just how good a politician she is. My thoughts go back to 2004. We all knew the swift boats, an attack on his war record, was coming for Kerry. He joked about it, but when the SBVFT arrived, he wasn't able up to the test. Warren should be challenged hard on M4A, and decriminalizing the boarder, and no doubt she will be.
