Do you think the MSM may be trying to be a little better this time?

I think every substantive story on TV that I've seen has the presenter making VERY clear that there is no evidence of any wrongdoing on the part of the Bidens. Then they move on. They resist dwelling on Biden. I get the sense that they are saying to themselves, "not again. You don't get to dictate the narrative."

Is this wishful thinking? What have you seen?

The msm is following their pocketbooks as they have so often before, Public polling against Trump is what drives them now. They were bending over backward to normalize Trump less than a year ago.

and by this I mean in particular The CNNs and MSNBCs of this world (which seems to be very popular to quote and opine about on this board) is to fill airtime between ads for drugs we never knew we needed. It has little if anything to do with journalism (although they do brush up against it from time to time) and much more to do with infotainment.

I refuse to watch cable noise.

The writer will flatout comment that what Trump claimed was proven to be a lie (yes, many have used lie).

My guess his attack on the news media has programming directors and publishers concerned about longterm profits. If Trump damages their credibility, liberal and conservative people will get their information from elsewhere. The last point is why Fox News owners are trying to create some distance from Trump, the owners want to protect their profitability.
