I'll be surprised if anyone else raised more than $3 million in the third quarter.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I'm still stunned how poorly Harris and Beto are polling. As two young, rising stars I thought 2020 would provide us with a fresh face. Instead, it's the much older, Washington insiders that are surging. I'm cool with whoever can defeat Trump but I figured Harris would compete.

But I believe a lot of it is self-inflicted. IMO, she has not run a high-end campaign and her message has not resonated like that of Warren. In addition, she's been a bit unsteady when making a stand on an issue that's not directly contradicting Trump in some way (see healthcare, taxes, etc.). I think Harris will be fantastic one day, and will likely make a strong run towards the White House, but it's becoming clear this is not her year.

Beto, while we all like him, I feel is more style than substance. He's getting there, but like Harris, it's clear he isn't ready for a deep run in a Presidential election. Go back to Texas and unseat Cornyn. Please. We need that seat, and Beto is the right candidate for that job. (And I think his presence on the ballot could help bring out the Dem vote and maybe turn Texas blue in the Pres. race.)

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
