(10,721 posts)No, he wasn't born in New England, but he was a senator from Delaware.
If Sanders drops out, Warren could take both IA and NH.

(10,721 posts)And he's easily the most well-known candidate. So, spinning Warren's lead in a NH poll as smaller than it should be is pretty silly.
That said, I think way too much is made of polls at this point. Much can and will change over the next 4 months.

(8,745 posts)The entire premise of the campaign is based on early polls.
Or is it the inspiring plans? Rousing speeches? Brilliant debates? Super disciplined messaging?
Last time he ran, he didn't register a single percentage point in any contest. What has changed? Was it Obama's endorsement in 2016? Or was it the more recent one?
Obama spoke with Biden about the prospect of him running multiple times before the former vice president hopped into the race, and "took pains to cast his doubts about the campaign in personal terms," according to a New York Times report.
A person familiar with the exchange told The Times that Obama said to Biden, "You don't have to do this, Joe, you really don't." But Biden responded that he felt he had an obligation to take on President Donald Trump and that he wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he didn't give it a shot.

(8,745 posts)It couldn't have to do with months of impressively detailed plans, excellent debate performances, electrifying speeches, rock-solid message discipline, virtually zero gaffes, a lack of campaign in-fighting, and generally a highly strategic use of resources and tight organization?
Nah, probably the media's thumb brainwashing people.
