Its not pleasant. But Trump has really laid out all of his cards, Biden Owens said. This is really not about my family. He has chosen my family to be the vehicle that he can [use to] influence the election.
Biden Owens said that she does not want to be in this scrum, but that one part that is hopeful to me, or makes me feel good, is that Trump thinks that were the guy to beat.
Its perverse, its backwards. But hes coming after us, Biden Owens said, directly referencing Trumps call last week for the Chinese government to investigate the Bidens. I dont want to protest too much, but the press has done their job on this. We havent had to do it. Theres nothing there. Now its China. I mean, this guys unhinged.

(8,144 posts)is certainly using other vehicles. But for now, because the Biden attack is central to his attack on our election, all candidates should boldly and loudly defend Biden by name as they condemn Trumps impeachable offense.
Many have. I especially applaud Booker and Harris for standing up because they have challenges to
Biden they feel at a personal, not mere policy, level. Yet they rise above rivalry and strong differences with Biden to call out Trump for his specific attack.
It is not really, the whole sorry affair, about Biden and family, as his sister rightly points out. It is about an unconstitutional interference with one of our most crucial democratic processes, electing
our president.
That issue is what media needs to concentrate on, not whether or not Biden adequately responds to the Trump machine, not speculation about the potential potency of Trumps attack. All that is
a dangerous spectator form of bothsiderism which meant or inadvertent amounts to participation
in Trumps game.
