I don't want to project, but he might be looking at things a little differently after his health scare. If he stays in the race (and I hope he does) it'll be interesting to see if this changes his campaign strategy at all.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

I know I fear very little except that...and each year that I come closer to it, it occupies a tiny bit more of my brain.

It's the toughest thing humans face generally speaking.

I'm tired of the angry Bernie schtick. I would have difficulty listening to that for an entire term. Had to mute Dubyah and won't listen to The Orange One. Not that they are in any way alike, policy wise, but Bernie could stand to tone down his cranky grandpa thing once in a while. Sorry, just my opinion.

He needs to be able to modulate his voice for the occasion. But I still love him to pieces.

that we are having now is immeasurable. He kind of stoked the furnace in 2016 so that we can talk about these issues in a broader fashion now.

Falling in the shower.

Being sick for an extended time.

78 years old.

If he saw a cardiologist after his shower fall and tests weren’t done to discover the blockage he should have a new cardiologist.

If he saw a cardiologist after the shower fall and his sickness he damn near has a law suit to bring forward.

Something is missing here. That something is either a competent cardiologist or Sanders himself possessing any common sense.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

He neither looked nor sounded good to me. Washed out.

He admitted he was dumb to ignore the early symptoms. Hope he'll be wise enough now to get the proper rest, not try to put things in high gear before he's fully recuperated.

As for the cardiologist appointment? This makes sense. He had a heart attack, for God's sake. Of course, you'd want to touch base with a local heart specialist. I'm sure the cardiologist will run his own tests, talk about meds and lifestyle, and then put him on a regular check-up schedule.

It's the sort of thing all mortals do after a scary medical event.

Good luck to him!

After a myocardial infarct, the cardiac muscle surrounding the dead areas develops rhythm abnormalities called arrhythmias. The abnormally slow rhythms (bradyarryhthmia) can result in a condition called asystole where the heart just stops and requires shocks. This is generally treated with a pacemaker which keep nudging the heard if it slows down abnormally.

The more dangerous ones are where the heart speeds up (tachyarrhythmia) and causes sudden loss of consciousness and ventricular fibrillation.

About 20-35% of the patients develop a rhythm disorder and the odds are higher in older patients where the rest of the heart muscle is also not in a good shape.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
