Biden Swipes at Warren With 'Planner' Remark

Seeking to draw a contrast with Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden said Wednesday that the country is “not electing a planner.”

Warren, who is statistically tied with Biden in recent state and national polls, has released a flurry of policy proposals, a practice that has developed into a campaign slogan: “Warren’s got a plan for that.”

For the most part, Biden has refrained from criticizing his rivals, but his rebuke of Warren may signal a more aggressive approach as he seeks to regain his lead in the polls.

“More important than my plan is my promise: I will get this done,” Biden, who is trying to position himself as a more moderate pragmatist, said Wednesday evening in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Later, he continued, “There is no one in this race who has a stronger record of passing important, consequential legislation than I have.”

With anything coherent, or that is not deflection? Or explained his banking bill, or numerous other questions? And what does your question have to do with Biden taking a shot at Warren, other than a poor attempt at deflection?

Every Biden supporter on here I've seen didn't like other candidates going after Bien but it's ok for him to do it? Quite a double standard, obviously.

Joe Biden has the experience to get things done in the real world https://www.politico.com/news/2019/10/10/joe-biden-donald-trump-attack-043778

After calling for Donald Trump’s impeachment for the first time, Joe Biden experienced something here he rarely sees on the campaign trail: a sustained standing ovation. His Rudy Giuliani joke had the crowd roaring, as did his digs on Trump’s tax secrecy.

It was just the kind of crowd energy the Biden campaign had hoped to tap as it abruptly shifted gears on Wednesday, revealing a new intensity and an amped up response to the president’s relentless attacks....

Biden didn’t even stop with Trump: He also took a veiled shot at Elizabeth Warren, who has overtaken Biden in recent national polls and whose campaign mantra is centered on her dozens of policy plans.

“It takes a proven ability to get things done,” Biden said in Manchester. “We’re not electing a planner.”

In reality, Biden stated the obvious.

Being POTUS involves much more than coming up with a plan for everything. Any planner can come up with plans. Leading the US domestically and abroad, soothing people in times of grief and disasters or making people's plans go through congress requires experienced leadership.

Good one, Biden! At the same time, I like plans! I like a planner! Only thing is, there's a perception in some corners that planners never actually take action. EW will have to show how she's taken a plan and successfully implemented it, and I know that won't be hard to do. We literally saw the changes on our mortgage and credit card statements, etc (before trump struck it all down).
