Media bias: MSNBC host just described Warren as frontrunner in RCP average, though

she had a .2 lead for only a couple of days before Biden regained the lead several days ago (currently at +1.8).

(CORRECTION: Warren had a .2 lead at RCP for ONLY ONE DAY before Biden regained the lead.)

I've mentioned here before that the bias was evident in lots of stories/headlines about Warren being the frontrunner with a .2 lead, while Biden regaining the lead was ignored.

Now today we have MSNBC still saying Warren's in the lead at RCP.

Cosidering it takes only seconds to check, it's hard to believe people at MSNBC don't know Biden's back in the lead.

Editing to add that the host who said this was Kendis Gibson.

But since I haven't heard ANYONE at MANBC refer to Biden regaining the lead in the RCP poll average, I don't think Gibson just decided to misreport the poll average on his own.

As I've also noted before, although I heard a lot of mentions on MSNBC of the recent Fox News polling showing 51% supporting impeaching/removing Trump, and on the GE matchup polling showing both Biden and Warren beating Trump by 10 points and Sanders beating Trump by 9 points, I didn't hear a single mention on MSNBC of Biden having a 10-point lead in the Democratic primary polling Fox News reported from the same poll, with Biden leading Warren 32% to 22%.

Amazing how that simply got "overlooked" in all the political reporting at MSNBC...

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

It's about making the public think it's a close race between two or more people. This makes people watch and creates higher ratings. And ratings are not the most important thing to TV networks, they are the ONLY thing. As we get closer to the election they will always start throwing around the words "dead heat", whether it really is or not. They will find a way to justify it.

Warren was .2 ahead for only one day several days ago. He said she was in the lead now.

MSNBC gave a lot of attention to her "taking the lead" days ago. Haven't heard one person there mention Biden retaking the lead 24 hours later.

Nate Silver's been commenting on the media bias, especially in terms of which polls are highlighted.

The fact no one on MSNBC has commented on the part of the Fox News poll showing Biden leading Warren by 10 points nationally -- even though their hosts and pundits have commented on Fox News finding 51% support for impeachment, and finding Biden, Warren and Sanders beating Trump -- also shows the bias. They want the media narrative to be that Warren is the frontrunner, and they're ignoring or lying about facts that don't fit that narrative.
