I thought Amy and Joe did the best when they had their chances.

But I was impressed how they did not yell over each other the whole night. I thought that it was getting boring at times and they all dragged out their answer to fill their chances. In the end, they all did fairly well answering their questions. One big issue was there are just to many on the stage. I have not decided who I am behind, but there are a couple of them who I am leaning towards and time will tell!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

Mayor of South Bend.. basically Notre Dame City. It's not much larger than my burg and I don't think any mayor here nor there is ready for Commander in Chief. So I hope whoever wins the election asks him to serve on their cabinet or, if that doesn't happen, that he runs for Governor or Senate.

Anyhow, I did like him, just not for this cycle. It goes without saying that if he does win nomination, I would vote for him (ABT, baby).

Had a really good endnote as well. I'd say it was his best debate night. Amy K surprised a lot of people. She definitely had her moment. Warren had trouble sliding around the Medicare for All questions. It was the first time she really had her feet put to the fire by Amy K and Pete B primarily. It was pretty obvious that Warren is not accustomed to being challenged and Klobuchar really nailed her over the 'my way or the highway' tone.

Interesting night.

I don't like the territory he is carving out; he doesn't work for me. All those who claim to be more sensible don't really go where most of the public wants to go, imo. Whether the public will get mislead by pundits and the election process on this, I can't say.

Warren stood up to a lot of attacks. Her answers on Medicare 4 All and the wealth tax were right on policy even if they didn't work as well given that she had to field front runner attacks and everyone wants the less important question about taxes for Medicare for All answered. I though Bernie did well tonight and I don't usually say that.

Harris did well on a lot of her answers and didn't get much time. But she doesn't quite nail it for me overall and I want her to. But it must be hard not getting the time in the debate to make your case.

Joe did well on some things. He screwed up by trying to claim credit for Warren's Consumer Agency. That was dumb and sexist and inaccurate.

I liked things almost all of them said, and sometimes they collectively fleshed out for the public the issues at stake. I liked those times in the debate. The gotcha questions annoy me.
