Why is Van Jones supporting a hypothetical conspiracy concerning what "they" will do next? Who is "they"?

Van's judgement seems clouded, but that's nothing new.

"They" are the many people that continually associate her with Putin. I no issues with her and her perspective on war, foreign policy and such is not that out the ordinary. No real sense in smearing her. I mean, you can but no real benefit other than turning off her supporters in a General Election. Do I think "Russia" is grooming her? Hell no. Do I think her views are a bit misguided? Yes, but her perspective via having actually served is legit.Shes not going to be the nominee but wasted energy on disparaging her. We will need her supporters in 2020
