New poll shows Klobuchar doing better than any other candidates against Trump in Minnesota

The results were Klobuchar +17, Biden +12, Warren +11, Sanders +9.

The poll of 800 MN registered voters was taken Oct. 14-16, so at least one day's polling was done after Klobuchar's bravura debate performance.

1. Minnesota loves Amy. However, it is pretty much the only state that does.

Amy Klobuchar's strength in Minnesota is bi-partisan, which is essential for winning statewide elections here. She has build a very solid following in the state, but is almost unknown outside of that state.

Is she a progressive? Well, yes, if you apply a loose definition of what progressivism is. However, she is not a hard progressive in some areas. That has helped her to keep winning her Senate seat.

they don't mention her until the paragraph after the one about how other candidates would do against Trump.

As a matter of fact, Klobuchar is the only one with a slight edge over Trump in the metro suburbs.

Still glad that Sanders has lost his luster from 2016 in favor of real Democrats.

Have to admit that she didn't impress me.

Lately more so, especially the last debate, but she continues to believe she has a good sense of humor, she seems to want to do some kind of stand up but it looks more like compensation for a lack of dynamism. She is a very solid personality but does not strike me as presidential.

At the end of her talk she did a jokey schtick about getting funded by her ex-boyfriends, 17k to be exact. I just thought she was tone deaf with that kind of comment. Hard to take her seriously.

Last week on msnbc she seemed to be more confident so you never know - veep for Biden perhaps.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
