Buttigieg Jumps to Second Place In Iowa
October 24, 2019 at 8:06 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

A new Iowa State University/Civiqs poll finds Elizabeth Warren leading the Democratic presidential field with 28%, followed by Pete Buttigieg at 20%, Bernie Sanders at 18% and Joe Biden at 12%.

The poll of likely caucus-goers also asked voters to list the candidate they do not want to win the nomination. Biden and Sanders topped this list with Tulsi Gabbard third.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I have yet to see a poll that show any of these candidates other than Biden get traction in minority communities.

Until that happens, forget about anyone but Biden, like him or not.

What the white folks of Iowa think means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Just my opinion...

Iowa no longer represents America Demographically.

Lol Trump won Iowa in 2016. That should tell us all something important.

I have nothing against Warren.

I would just like to see Warren, Buttigieg, and Sanders put some focus into their constituents that could really help them win.

I'm not talking about GOP primary voters and you know that.

I'm talking about minority communities that support the Democratic Party.

You get to South Carolina and it will begin the Biden wipe out because he gets the support of minority communities unlike any of the other candidates.

All anyone needs to look at is the 2016 primaries. Bernie got slaughtered in minority communities. Article after article about his tin ear when it came to issues in those communities.

Here we go again in 2020 with insufficient attention paid to issues important to those communities, and we think a different result is coming....

No thanks.

I'll keep my feet firmly planted on the ground.

I've seen bullshit Iowa Polls showing Bernie at 9% ,,It could be this is a bullshit poll placing Joe way below where he really is.....The surge for Mayor Pete is for real . Many polls confirm that ..Being a Midwesterner is a big advantage for him ,,..I have no doubt about that ….Liz , I believe, is ahead in Iowa - at least for now....She has built a formidable organization in the state ...Bernie has had 4 years to gin up his turnout on Caucus Night ...Long ago , his campaign decided to target people who have not attended caucus before ….He knew party regulars, by and large, resented his challenge of Hillary in 2016 and were averse to what they perceive to be his "far-left" positions on economic and other domestic issues … …..His campaign hopes to far outperform the polls when real results come in ……...

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Undecided
