We don't need those votes, because we were never going to get them anyway. If you are struggling to vote for a democrat, then you aren't going to vote for one. Best outcome for us is they stay home, worst is they hold their nose and vote for Trump. If Tulsi gives them a safe place to cast a protest vote without casting it for Trump, that's a win.

Honestly, anyone who shows up and votes for a 3rd party candidate in this climate was never going to vote to the democrat anyway. It doesn't cost us anything.

The Democratic nominee will be harmed by the usual barrage of corrupt-warmonger-neoliberal-racist accusations and the Republican socialist-big government-PC propaganda. Third party could get enough votes in swing states to harm the Democrat.

I know voters in this category, i.e. who disliked Trump in 2016, but they simply would not vote for Hillary. The might have voted for Bernie, though. These votes are not necessarily ungettable.
