Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumHow many of our candidates attended the funeral service for Elijah Cummings today? In the church....
...I saw Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, even Tulsi Gabbard.
I understand that most likely those that aren't in government (Yang, Williamson, Steyer, etc.) wouldn't be there, but the others? Did I miss any this morning?

(18,486 posts)There are all sorts of reasons people attend and don't attend funerals. And many funerals, particularly large ones like this, are a great opportunity to be seen but the family is often so overwhelmed, it's hard for them to see and take in everyone who's there, and the presence of individuals doesn't even register, much less provide comfort.
There are many ways to pay respects. Attending a high profile funeral is it one of them.
