Dr. Dean Baker: Elizabeth Warren forcing the correct question on Medicare for All.

Economist Dr. Dean Baker details why Senator Elizabeth Warren is correct in the manner in which she addresses the question about tax increases with Medicare for All.

important discussion here. (I don't favor candidates discussing details of health care proposals, as too complex for voters to decide on, imo.)

an industry group designed to mislead wants us to believe. We must stop caving to fear and lean in and work hard as hell in an individual manner informing our friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. Sitting back and assuming it is a loser makes it a loser. Fighting like hell to counter those in the minority fighting to keep us slaves to a failed system is a winner if we decide to make it so. They depend on that to continue growing their wealth with our money, and thus unable to build our own.

If it’s as good as we think, people will gravitate to it quickly, making Mandatory MFA easy.

Sanders and Warren likely can’t get elected in the GE running on MFA, even if you don’t believe you want it. We’ll be sitting here in 4 or 8 years debating the same stuff if MFA is our message for 2020.
