There is no dearth of good candidates.

You are not one of them.

3. A quick story from the ground

A life long buddy works in Democratic politics in Florida. He is very, very well connected in both state and national Democratic organizations. He thinks Biden has the best shot in Florida ( although he is more in the Warren mold). He also says there is nervousness within the national DNC that none of these candidates are necessarily equipped to beat Trump and there is actually encouragement from some high ranking officials to push a few more "unnamed" individuals into race to see if they catch fire. Now, my buddy is just one person but he has a real insight to the party elites and Florida politics.

primary today, I would vote for:

Sure not an elite or well-connected among FL politicos, but agree on Biden.
My impression is that he's way ahead down here right now.
Of course that might change, but sure doubt many will switch and go for Bloomberg.
Would even go so far as to say that most who might consider Bloomberg are probably still for Trump.
Florida still seems like very much a swing state.

We’ve been in the process for so long. Did he feel it was beneath him or not worth his time? I respect that it’s his decision to run, but it shows a lack of respect for the process and the voters in general. Sorry, not interested.

and there is some truth to it (he bought his first two terms in NYC), he can buy his way to the nomination. He did however, fail to buy his way into a 3 term mayor.

Right now (and I could change my mind), the person who has the best chance to beat Trump has my vote.

Let the dude run. This will play its self out by March. I would support a horse if it's the nominee. No one, including a string of career DC politicians, have a right to our nomination. None of these candidates are necessary middle class, working people. With the exception of Tulsi, I like all our candidates.

1. His racist Stop and Frisk policy was atrocious, and he was still defending it at the beginning of this year.
2. He's a billionaire, and pretty much no Democrats want to vote for a billionaire.
3. He's a Democrat only when it's convenient, and if Democratic voters are not sure if someone really is a Democrat, why would they vote for him when we already have plenty of decent candidates?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
