of billionaires using their vast wealth to fulfill a vanity project, when there are so many ways they could use that money to make the world a better place. Go to Africa and dig wells, help more poor children get a college education, support a party and candidates who will make a difference, or just go to the top of a tall building and drop the money to the streets below, even that would be a better use of the money.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Volunteering is all well and good, but I think a steady, tax-based revenue stream is better for humanitarian organizations than having rich people show up from time to time to dig ditches.

But even then, so many billionaires have more money than they could ever spend and if they really want to leave a legacy or make a difference, they could do it without running for president. For the most part, all that campaign spending has only served to feed their massive egos.

some impressive liberal Democratic governors who didn't have the extremely well publicized controversies that accrue to any mayor of the nation's media center. It's likely that a "just-a-normal-NY-mayor" version of Bloomberg would have been passed by also, albeit with perhaps some people throwing verbal beer cans at him as he left, instead of not realizing he was gone.

But if hate to see it. I really don’t know anything about him but I just would hate for president to be an exclusively billionaire post. One thing I think he really is rich and isn’t running to feather his nest like Trump did.

We have no choice but to vote for the nominee but I hope it is neither of these 11th hour entrants that wins it.

Quite apart from the late entry and spoiler elements .. where is the support? This is exclusively a case of infatuation with the person you see in the mirror.

He is no Democrat and has only a little better chance of winning the primary than I. Like many obscenely wealthy people, he assumes that we mere humans must surely see that he is a superior creation. He's got more money than he knows how to spend. If he wants to blow it on a vanity project, it's his money.

I see no reason to believe he will gain any traction in the Democratic primary.
