I know boy scouts that can light a fire without a match.

It must be another slow news day in the Bernie campaign. I wonder if the corporate media conglomerates will provide coverage about this major event?

Apparently so. But, then again, his cardiologist instructed him to slow down, and this seems pretty slow (and safe) to me.

I wonder if the corporate media conglomerates will provide coverage about this major event?
I know, right? He's being ERASED!

Someone needs to check on John Cusack... I'm sure he's absolutely apoplectic that this wasn't the lead story at the top of every hour on CNN and Headline News.

Nobody said anything about this relating to qualification for the WH.

It appears to be just a feel good tweet.

Not sure why it got this reaction.

many of which are harmful and potentially carcinogenic.

Wood smoke pollutants include fine particulates, nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds, dioxins, and furans.

Breathing air containing wood smoke can cause a number of serious respiratory and cardiovascular health problems. Those at greatest health risk from wood smoke include infants, children, pregnant women, the elderly, and those suffering from allergies, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, pneumonia, or any other heart or lung disease."

Like gas cooking stoves that release nitrogen dioxide that reacts with the oxygen and moisture in the air to form toxic nitrates and nitric acid. Like the garbage that is picked up from our homes weekly and gets dumped in landfills which generates methane, a highly inflammable gas. Then there are our every say industries like energy, shipping, manufacturing, and automobiles that discharge air pollutants as fine particulate matter, volatile organic compounds, nitrogen and carbon compounds, ground-level ozone and more.

But Bernie built a fire in a wood stove! How dare he??????

Is very proficient at building fires. We know very little about a considerable portion of his life spent in the woods of Vermont with no known stable employment or income. We know he was into writing fantasies and not being seen. It can be assumed that fires were a big part of his heating and eating.

Being able to “properly” start a fire is admirable. It’s an art form that requires three very basic elements. People often forget the fourth element which is where it normally goes all wrong, the human element. 😁 Yes, I like building fires.
