Two data points:

After 2016, we won back the Senate on the basis of moderate Democrats winning in marginal suburban districts, not JD and OR endorsees.

The top issue Democrats are looking for is someone who can beat Trump.

unless Hillary was in this race and we could see how she does against 16, 17 or whatever number of candidates we have now.

Your last sentence is one of the major reasons along with the critical issues that I support Bernie.

It is easy for the firmly committed to ignore anything beside the good news for their preferred candidate, that was the only point I was trying to make.

Most polls are pretty much meaningless this far out.
