like Elizabeth Warren a few months ago. Warren came to town recently, and my wife's cousin went to the rally, dressed like Warren. The two of them met, and got along just fine.

She's a local celebrity, now, I guess. Funny. Here's a photo of them together:

I am 51, have short hair, and glasses. That's about as close as the comparison gets.

Figure I must have a very generic face that has aged in a very generic way. Early on I was mistaken for someone else's child, then someone's sister or girlfriend, then wife and/or mother/aunt. Depressingly, now I'm into grandma/Nana territory. LOL.

Just had a man approach me in the Fresh Market parking lot who dived into conversation. Until his wife/partner touched his arm and said, "She's not who you think she is, Al."

Funny moment. We all laughed.

It only gets creepy when people stare and stare and stare instead of coming up and asking, "Are you so in so?"

So yeah, I know what you mean about having 'one of those faces.'

And yep, the comparisons and mistaken identities are definitely now in grandma territory. Sigh. LOL!

Even my husband will nudge me when we're out. "There's a guy up there who thinks you're someone you're not."

I shrug. Just me.

I dunno, maybe we were fashioned in a laboratory someplace. To confuse the masses.

I actually do have an identical twin. It happens to her too, but not nearly with the frequency it does to me.

I took the complement. But I am a bit, let's say heavier, than she was when she was younger.

I've got to have her by at least 3-4 clothes sizes.

I had black hair and brown eyes back then (not to suggest that my eye color changed) and when customers or patrons came up to tell me that I looked like someone they knew I would always ask, "Is she Jewish or Italian?" Because those were always the two ethnicities my lookalike belonged to.

Just once, I wished someone had come back with, "No, she's Swedish."

Go figure.

I looked like Mary Lou Retton back when she was in the news. That was back when I was about 25. More recently I've been told by HS kids that I subbed in their class in elementary school (I did not). Apparently, I look like a Mrs. Perry who the kids say was their sub in 3rd or 4th grade.

I'm thinking she must have been if they still remember her!

It happens so often I can predict it sometimes before it happens.
You can tell by the way they look at you.

Have you noticed it? It's basically flawless and not at all the skin of a 70-year-old. I had more wrinkles than she does now when I was 35.

During the time when she was on the lam with the SLA after they’d robbed that bank. She recorded a statement saying she’d decided to stay with them after they’d kidnapped her, and she was taking the name Tania.

So I was coming out of the library one day and some guy sitting on a ledge by the entrance turned to me and said “helllloooo, Taaaniaaaaaa!” in a sly voice. I damn near freaked! She was wanted by the police! And they were looking for her all over everywhere! I was afraid I was about to be arrested!

The guy saw my reaction and said “oh, sorry. I thought you were someone else.” Couldn’t get outta there fast enough!
