What in the world do the reporters want Joe Biden to say? They are complaining about him

not having a clear message about Hunter. One said He only has two types of answers, "He did nothing wrong, or anger at the questioner." They keep saying "He doesn't have a clear message.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

I'm not going to post from a RW source, but there was a Fox story on 9/26. You can do the googling yourself.

Nobody has accused President Obama of needing access to those in Ukraine Hunter Biden was dealing with. Then the man says the opposite. That is what Biden meant when he said "nobody is saying that". The first part was never an accusation at the Bidens.

15. According to Schweitzer's telling, the "president" getting access is President Zelensky,
Sat Dec 7, 2019, 03:53 AM

who wanted a private meeting with Trump.

The confusion is that the "president" in the first sentence referred to Zelensky and in the second, to Trump.

I think Biden would have been better off flat out denying it, and pointing out why it couldn't be true (the timeline makes no sense) then to claim that "no one's saying this."

did not lie as "you sent your son there" happened when Obama was president and the reporter was vague, perhaps intentionally so, and Biden assumed the wrong president was being referenced. So no lie.But i bet ya the GOP use coprehension games to attack our candidates. Maybe being intentionally vague is a thing with the GOP now. I speak in a vague way as i have conduction aphasia. It was used against me to lead to misleading narratives by a gang of psychopaths. Joe heard a very vague question and assumed more than usual (understanding vagueness requires more assumptions by its very nature) and assumed the reporter was talking about Obama. You said Joe was wrong and he was not. It was a misunderstanding.

I do think his staff needs to prepare him better to deal with this issue. It's been out there for months and he should have a better answer than "no one says this" when the fact is that a best selling author says this, and it's being echoed all over the RW media.

Sat Dec 7, 2019, 04:26 AM

what he was talking about, because for the RW media it's a big story.

I've often noticed in various stories on TV that reporters will forget to say President TRUMP or President ZELENSKY when discussing the two. They'll just say "the president" and then I have to pause to make certain I know which president they're talking about. So I doubt this reporter was being purposefully vague; just sloppy.

Communicators OFTEN think they're being clearer than they are. They know in their heads what they're thinking, and they don't realize it's not coming out in their words.

-He stays out of his kids’ business, always has.
-Sometimes they don’t make the best choices; every parent can relate.
-In no way did Hunter’s position at Burisma influence his decisions re Ukraine, the record proves it.
-That said, he understands it looks bad/less than ideal which is why he’ll have a higher standard on family members and work overseas when he’s President.

Having the discipline to stick to the script keeping his emotions in check will be the challenge. Anything family-related sets him off and he needs to work on that.

He took a subject that was a press darling that was supposed to torpedo him, and he turned it into an asset for himself.

I'd say Biden should also stress that EVERY intelligence agency has debunked any wrongdoing, and there is clear evidence, which he should provide, that Russia is behind the story AND he should reiterate that Russia stole the last election.
