I think Rachel is a far more progressive Democrat (if she is indeed a Democrat) than Mayor Pete's centrist Democrat. I figure her for a Sanders or Warren supporter. I think Pete held his own against her questioning though.

Regarding how easy or hard an interviewer makes it on a candidate, we better be sure the candidate we choose can handle the difficult questions. We don't want to be in a situation in October that we are doing damage control after the Presidential debates because of a major debate misstep, because the MSM will make that the "emails" of the 2020 election.
