He's had two good polls this week, but nothing that suggested a substantial shift in his trajectory.

if Bernie somehow won the nomination the scrutiny would get a lot harsher. Bernie does not respond well to criticism. Trump would crush Bernie with ease. I won't lay out the likely Republican attack lines because that might be construed as bashing a Democratic candidate.

Trump never tweets, or talks about Bernie at his rallies. Biden and Warren always get brought up. Heck he was even bringing up Beto last night.

The Bernie folks are probably wishing Trump singles him out because Bernie can respond and the subsequent news coverage will be Trump vs Bernie.

It would be a very reasonable point to argue that this is absolutely necessary. Also, Trump should have to have a competent doctor put out a real health report that includes everything that medical reports usually contain. When even his height and weight are obviously wrong, the report has no credibility.

His comeback started with the endorsement of AOC and two other members of the Squad . He has had 2 solid debate performances since his heart attack - alleviating concerns regarding his health . Important Progressive Groups are starting to rally to his standard . . It still all pivots on Iowa .He must carry that state to have a chance of winning the nomination .He must win the first 3 states (IA, NH, NV) and finish a respectable 2nd place in SC to become the frontrunner

His highest point in RCP's average is 24.0 in March.

His next high was 18.8 in May, 18.2 in August, three weeks ago he was at 19.5, and currently is 17.8. This graph is from June through December 11.

Like water sloshing in a cup, (given that the polls are only looking at 2016 voter demographics ie. 18% 18-25, rather than the much higher #'s for 2018 - 31%) I think this testimony is only going to be explosively good for populists.

edit: I wasn't very clear: I mean, given a fixed # of 2016 registered voters of set demographic make-up, #'s going up or down is a net sum game. People are moving towards Sanders. Now, imagine if they polled based on todays demographics: the one's that took back the house in 2018. You'd see far more than a rise or a surge. You'd be just as gob-smacked as the never-trumper Reps were
