We need a populist message to win.

Leave out the racism/sexism/misogyny/homophobia/anti semitism of course.

A simple message of how we will run government for the people, short on specifics to leave no room for attack. And attacking the shit out of Trumpass and republicans, that a vote for them is against their interest.

And stop eating our own alive, ok?

In November Trump must be soundly defeated by our candidate.

No hard feelings and sitting it out. No purity tests. Just fucking defeat the fascist. We will not come back from another four years of the worst president in US history. Anyone of our candidates is better than them. And I hold myself to this. I truly cannot stand one of our candidates, but will pull the lever for them if they win.

The US as we know it and the world depends on us.

My Bernie Only family members are already vowing to not vote if Bernie doesn’t take it AGAIN.

I am blue in face talking about it.

I think it's going to take all of us to win. We cannot afford to tear apart our own in the name of "vetting" in the hopes that somehow this will lead to the best candidate. Which is why the 2016-type of tearing down is so disheartening to see. We have one and only one job in the current year and that is defeating Donald Trump

Though I have to admit voting for Bloomberg will be a difficult pill to swallow ...I don't feel that will happen so I have nothing to worry about on that score ..……..Trump has to go …...

Trump supports zero.

It wouldn't be a difficult decision. I'd prefer he not be the nominee, and I don't think he will be, but the choice would be easy.

We need a liberal message to win. And policies based on reason, not on rage.

The American public is longing for a sane alternative. Not a demagogue. Not pitchforks. Not rage.

11. No it can't. Populism is based on division.

You can't have populism without dividing societies into the good and pure "people" on one side, and the corrupt evil scapegoats who are responsible for all the nation's woes on the other.

Without scapegoats, division, rage, and demagoguery, you can't have "populism." Not possible.

These requirements are baked into the formula.

It is an ideology that stokes anger, rage, and resentment. And is the opposite of "unifying." It is polarizing, by design.
