As Pete Buttigieg pointed out on Thursday, nobody questions Warren to remain untainted by exposure to big dollar donors, so its an issue when she implies that of others.

Bernie always tries to out-progressive her. She comes out with a student debt plan with an income limit and he comes out with a plan cancelling all student debt. She comes out with a green new deal, then he does. The technique famously know as seven minute abs.
Maybe she thought Bernie was going to use the wine cave thing and that if she did first she'd out-progressive Bernie on the fundraiser purity test.
It's the only thing that makes any sense to me. Still, not smart.

(41,832 posts)It's hard to pin down, but I think everyone gets what I mean. She is a good person and a great Democrat but she does stumble on some of these things. Maybe it's over eagerness. Or maybe wanting to please.
It's not enough for me to not enthusiastically vote for her if she is our candidate. It's just harder to run a national campaign than in the safe confines of liberal Massachusetts.
