Corporate Media use MOM to dismiss Andrew Yang, Elizabeth Warren, & Bernie Sanders

Corporate Media uses the MOM method to dismiss Andrew Yang, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders. What is MOM?

To the casual viewer, the following This Week panel may seem like straight reporting. Unfortunately, that could not be the furthest from the truth.

was constantly dismissing Joe Biden as if he was bound to crash and burn. This is the first week that they finally said his base is sticking with him and solid.. How do you explain that?

has rarely been right when it comes to presidential candidates. Often they are just talking to fill air time.

fill airtime between ads for drugs we never knew we needed. The "horse race" narrative is alive and well.

They've acknowledge that they made a lot of serious mistakes in 2016, but they will just do it again. It is so rare to find a political pundit who has any idea what is going on.

they have spent eight months disparaging Biden every chance that they could:

He's too old.
He makes too many gaffes.
He's only popular because of name recognition.
His long record in the Senate will be a liability.
He's a white male--not diverse enough for Democrats.
He's not liberal enough in the era of AOC.
He's the frontrunner--but for how long? His support will plummet as time goes on.

I think they have a playbook in which they write down all of the ways that they can mess with Democrats.

We used to call out media manipulation more often on DU, I don't know if it's because of the primaries or why that seems to have changed.

Excellent summary of how they go about influencing rather than informing.
