Who would Bernie pick as VP?

I read Biden might possibly pick a Republican, yet clearly states he does not know of one at this time and may never consider one.

So. Who would Bernie pick? He is an Independent turned Democrat then Independent, then Democrat now running for two different positions registered for President as a Democrat and a Senate run as an Independent. He calls himself a Socialist that some want to modify by saying he is a Democratic Socialist, yet their are tapes of him calling himself a Socialist. He has top staff that are Stein voters, that is a fact.

I am sure confused.

So who will Bernie pick...and don't say my Senator Warren. She will never take a second seat and her strength is in the Senate should she lose.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I can see he seems a bit scared to bring on people who may end up not being loyal to him. In my opinion, he seems to be afraid of back stabbers. This is why I picked Cenk.

There were almost 25 candidates for POTUS at one time - the biggest most of them are qualified for VP, how does Ugyur top your list? Whats his skill besides loyalty?

...regardless of you’re telling us not to state the obvious answer.

Warren has said she’d have run for VP in 2016 if HRC had asked so your argument that she wouldn’t take the second place on the ticket doesn’t make sense.

I am not sure why you could not have looked.

Though I imagine if you had it would not have played into the, in my opinion, tired trope of "Sanders isn't' a Democrat

(even though that never stopped the Democrats from putting him in leadership positions in the Senate)

Anyways here'a a link from last February

Wed Jan 1, 2020, 12:20 PM
Jan 2020

She balances Bernie in so many ways, while also complimenting him. She's a younger Black woman who certainly leans progressive on issues that matter to Sanders, including Medicare for All. She would reassure voters concerned about Bernie's age, since she is highly qualified to step into the Presidency. And that ticket can mobilize the Democratic base while also peeling off some white working class support from Trump.

88. Ambassador Susan Rice Will Receive My Zealous Endorsement
Wed Jan 1, 2020, 02:40 PM
Jan 2020

Once Bernie has the nomination locked down, I will do everything in my power to encourage Dr. Rice as running mate. She checks every box. Beyond her gender, I see the following bona fides (in order of my priority):

1) She is a parent and person of color.

2) She is super smart.

3) She has excellent credentials in foreign policy.

4) She will fight just as hard for justice as Bernie.

5) She will help carry over Obama's policy successes on the international stage.

Fri Jan 3, 2020, 12:08 AM
Jan 2020

We should then all skip work and watch heads explode on FAUX News.

OK - serious picks. In reverse order:

#5) Gavin Newsome - California Governor = executive experience. Good progressive credentials.
#4) Kate Brown - Executive experience, excellent progressive credentials
#3) Joseph Patrick "Joe" Kennedy III - Young. Name recognition. Brings instant interest to the campaign.
#2) Kamala Harris - Her prosecutorial background is a drawback for some, but she is whip-smart and multi-racial. Also, there'd be no issue of her not being replaced by another Dem
#1) ...

....of course, I'm going to say Elizabeth Warren. She's great on the stump and in harmony with Bernie on like 97% of issues.

Other longshots: Andrew Cuomo (executive experience), Beto O'Rourke, Eric Garcetti, Tammy Duckworth

On edit: It'd be bad optics because of Bernie's anti-Billionaire stance, but Andrew Yang would actually be a savvy pick. Yang knows tech, also appeals to younger voters, and has made some sharp observations about issues like AI and its impact on the workplace.
