I'll give Joey B a pass but I can't think of even one Repub I want near the Oval Office.

Not a one has the character or judgment to be our president or vice president. It pains me to say it but Republicans are not just our opponents, they lack the requisite moral probity to govern. Anybody who believes Trump is capable of leading isn't.

Jim Leach. Nerdy, reminded me of Paul Simon. He was voted out in 08 and joined Obama's cabinet. May have switched parties as well.

The Republican RINO hunters have not only bagged their party’s moderates but their party’s men and women of honor, integrity, and experience.

I have it on good authority that off the record he followed this quote with "and then I will laugh my ass off".

10. Yes, because Bernie is a Democrat's Democrat by voting with Democrats more than most Democrats.

Only here does Bernie not get credit for being a Democrat's Democrat by voting with Democrats more than most Democrats.

that was the last republican primary line up. The republican party tends to come up with the worst possible candidates for president almost every election season and I'm assuming those are their best. They haven't had a viable, competent candidate since Eisenhower. They got so desperate in 1980 that they hired an actor! Democrats had FDR and JFK, so they had to create their own charismatic leader and then built a myth around him.

They are a pathetic party, with pathetic leaders. The only way they can win is by lying and cheating.

13. Biden needs to pick his successor as VP

Joe will turn 82 in Nov 2024, so I see him as a one term president. His VP choice needs to help him win in 2020 and be a good choice as his replacement.

I don't see a Republican running mate as a good choice for either objective. Joe is already centrist enough not to scare away moderates and independents. This election will likely be won by getting out the vote on the left, especially young people. A Rethug on the ticket would be decidedly unhelpful.

By saying he would consider an R on the ticket, Joe is giving voice to his theme of national unity and working together to get things done, which often requires a degree of compromise.

If Joe Biden wins the Democratic nomination, rest assured he will have a Democratic running mate
