Biden tweet on Castro leaving the race

It was a privilege to work with @JulianCastro during the Obama Administration, and a true honor to be in this talented field of candidates with him. He led his historic campaign with grace and heart and used his platform to lift the voices of others. Thank you, Mr. Secretary.

but this make Joe's choice of Veep a lot more complicated. Simply put, a ticket without latinx or afro-americans will be a real BAD look, to say nothing of one without women after 2016 became used as a victory against women by pigs.

Stacey Abrams might put some of the south in play.

Amy Klobachar might win us more in the Upper Midwest and maybe even puts Ohio into play.

We need the Trump forces to have to spend their money on what otherwise would be "safe" states like Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and even Arizona.

A well liked Latina politician would also be a good match...

He’s the opposite of everything Trump stands for.

In the world of branding and marketing, he’s countering the “Trump brand” effectively.

Trump thinks he’s a master brander, but ignores the stringent rules of branding once it goes against him. The result is the Trump name is worth far, far less than when he first showed his ass on the world stage.

The Trump companies made a fatal, and fundamental mistake nearly every wrong-headed company makes—line extension. Instead of focusing on the narrow things a company is great at, they expand into other fields and water-down the brand. All under the umbrella of Trump being a “business genius”, but now we know his money was made cheating on his taxes and fraud. He’s a loser. Now, Trump wants to manage the U.S. of A. with the same business model by exploiting our allies and bad business decisions like tariffs against our adversaries.

But because we are laboring within a pseudo-capitalist society, large failing companies with lots of lobbyists escape justifiable death they earned in the free market, and wildly-profitable companies pay no taxes because of slick lawyers. But eventually the marketplace has the last word when people are ripped-off. Once THEY lose money, the game is over.
