'We believe in her'; Sen. Eric Lesser leads Elizabeth Warren supporters to New Hampshire

to drum up support

The 2020 New Hampshire democratic primary will take place next month and 24 Rep. Elizabeth Warren supporters from Western Massachusetts, organized by Sen. Eric Lesser, traveled to New Hampshire Saturday to go door to door on the streets of Claremont to gather support.
...
Sen. Jo Comerford and Rep. Dan Carey joined the volunteers on the journey to show their support.

“It’s raining outside and it’s cold but neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor fog will keep us from our mission, which is to get Elizabeth Warren elected president, have her win the New Hampshire primary,” said Lesser. “We’re up here because we believe in her and we believe in what she stands for and we’ve seen it firsthand here in Massachusetts.”“What I can say is there’s a lot of ups and downs in a campaign,” said Lesser. “So I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the thrust and parry of any one day. What I would focus on is the values of the candidates and what they’re fighting for, what they believe in. What I can tell you is that Sen. Warren is on the right side of these issues and it’s a process and so that’s why we’re going to New Hampshire.”

“This is the best thing about Elizabeth Warren. She's gonna do what's right [and] not always what's popular. She believes in the American people's ability to hear big ideas to hear and digest complex ideas and she's willing to go the distance with them to help explain those ideas and help them understand that,” said Comerford. “In fact, the cost of a program like Medicare-for-all is small compared to the cost of not doing Medicare-for-all.”
