Bernie says he will "probably not" be releasing his full medical records after all.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/bernie-sanders-promised-to-disclose-his-medical-records-what-happened/2020/01/04/9769ed08-2e67-11ea-bcd4-24597950008f_story.html?fbclid=IwAR1r9hiW4__kxrkb4BLO808K_7tEhj_20bj2w1ZyQc0AhJZEgylBC_WrBzc

At 78, Mr. Sanders, too, would be the oldest president if elected, and in October he suffered a heart attack. He was briefly off the campaign trail but returned with vigor and a promise to release his medical records.

“Of course, we’re — of course, people do have a right to know about the health of a senator and someone running for president of the United States, full disclosure,” Mr. Sanders told CNN’s Sanjay Gupta. “And, we will make at the appropriate time, all of our medical records public for you or anybody else who wants to see them.” Mr. Sanders this week released some information — letters from three doctors attesting to his fitness for office — but it fell far short of his promise of full disclosure. When pressed by reporters if more information would be released, he said, “Probably not.”

Mr. Sanders, like everyone running for president and currently serving as president, should be totally forthcoming about his health. The inadequacy of doctor letters in lieu of records was underscored in 2016 by the ludicrous letter from then-candidate Donald Trump’s gastroenterologist. So far, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), 70, has provided the most information, releasing a letter from her physician and five pages of supporting medical data. Former vice president Joe Biden, 77, released a three-page letter from his physician outlining his current condition and medical history.

Here are the letters:

Proof ?...……….. ..Bernie had 3 doctors describing him as fit to run a vigorous campaign and serve as President . 3 physicians , including his longtime doctor, were willing to risk their careers to lie for Bernie ? ...I doubt it … " The Sanders campaign noted ... Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren have released similiar physician's notes detailing good health"... from Intelligencer (December 30, 2019) … From HuffPost : "Bernie Sanders Releases Doctors' Notes Saying He's Fit to Serve " .. From My Champlain Valley.com ….Article entitled " Sanders releases Medical Records , Physician letter says he's Healthy " : .Brian Monahan, the attending physician for Congress and Sanders primary doctor .....Monahan's letter contains Sanders health history and results from recent laboratory tests conducted during his recovery from a heart attack in October ..Monahan said he is in good health and can campaign without any limitation " ..….

Aside from his gallbladder surgery in 2003, Biden did have a cerebral aneurysm in 1988, which was repaired surgically and has not recurred, the report said. Having spent "a good deal of time in the sun in his youth," Biden has had several localized, non-melanoma skin cancers removed, O'Connor's report said.

I'm really curious to see if either will release more information - think they both should, especially someone who had a heart attack recently and anyone who is over 70 - including Biden.

You are right that I don't personally like Sanders, I was a supporter in 16 but think he betrayed us with lackluster support for Clinton and the fact that so many of his supporters voted drumpf. Biden says he'll release medical records before primaries

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Friday he would release his medical records before any votes are cast in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary.

Biden made the pledge while talking to reporters in Texas after the latest Democratic debate the night before in which a younger rival jabbed at the former vice president's memory.

The former vice president pushed back on a question about whether he would release his records to address any "concerns."

“What the hell concerns, man?" Biden asked the reporter. "You want to wrestle?”

“Before there’s a first vote, I’ll release my medical records," he added when pressed. "There’s no reason for me to not release my medical records."

They discontinued the blood thinners and beta blockers he was put on that are given to heart attack patients. His treadmill stress teat showed that he was able to exercise to a level that is approximately 50% higher than other men his age with a similar diagnosis. Sanders is now “entirely asymptomatic.”

Biden takes an anticoagulant ( Eliquis) for his AFib. Biden also takes Crestor, a cholesterol drug to control his cholesterol.
