No matter where you fall on that scale, the country is Center/Left. The voters in November will not just be Dems. The way it works is that we have to win enough states to beat trump. If your goal is all wrapped up in your political views and not who the country really is, we will hand trump a second term.

You can be liberal without being Far Left Progressive and you can be liberal without being in the Moderate camp. Nancy Pelosi = Liberal. HRC = Liberal. Joe Biden = Liberal. Peggysue = Liberal.

There was a time (for quite a while, I might add) that even uttering the word Liberal would get you clobbered. Not the case anymore. The Liberal designation is perfectly sound for those of us who want social, economic, environmental, etc progress while being pragmatic about how you get there within our system of governance.

This is not a tug for war for purity. Which only leads to losing elections. This is about being smart and practical, knowing how to defeat the opposition. Who--we should remind ourselves--are the Republicans in general and Trump specifically.
