And your tweet just basically reinforces with what little respect Sanders cares about """identity politics,""" which most of us non alt-right folks -- and apparently non-Sanders supporters -- would just call civil rights.

Neither side is equivocating about the content of the conversation. That Senator Warren is being tactful doesn't obviate the simple truth that someone is lying. Dismissing that prevarication because, maybe, he had a different perspective at the time misses the much larger story.

Senator Sanders could have stated what you just did, but he didn't. He denied the accusation in an unseemly manner. Perhaps he's telling the truth now, but it certainly doesn't appear so.

Here is what I suspect happened. Remember this is 2018, 2 years after Hillary Clinton lost in 2016. It may be, at the time they were talking, that because of Hillary's loss, because of all of the sexism that she had to endure during that campaign, that Senator Sanders wondered if a woman could actually become President with so much sexism infusing Hillary's campaign.

He may not have been anti-woman at all. Instead, he may have just been discussing what he thought might have been the political realities at the time. I don't know for sure. I am trying to be open-minded about this. As, I mentioned in an earlier post about this subject, if Warren does not want to bury Sanders with this, neither do I. I will accede, assent and agree to her will.

(And neither is probably true, by the way. All of it can, most likely, be written off as statements being taken out of context.)

But sure, let's give Trump and his evil flying monkey squad more ammunition against potential Democratic candidates. I didn't like this crap when camp Hillary falsely accused Bernie of being a GUN NUT, and I didn't like it when camp Bernie falsely accused Joe Biden of wanting to dismantle Social Security, Paul Ryan style. I am shocked by the path Warren has decided to take and will send the cash to Bernie.

I gave to all the progressives and Warren was my second choice, no more though.

There are numerous videos available where Senator Sanders states emphatically that a women could absolutely win the Presidency. He has made it very clear as far back as the '80's that he would support a woman running for President. There is no doubt in my mind this statement is untrue. It is completely out of character for him. Produce an audio recording if you want me to believe this.

Only to the very extreme, perhaps.

And has resorted to "lying."

It's a classic dirty politics reaction. If it were true, it would have come out a year ago when it supposedly took place.

59. I 100% believe Sanders would say something like this.

After all, Sanders did state the following:

"You know there are a lot of white folks out there who are not necessarily racist who felt uncomfortable for the first time in their lives about whether or not they wanted to vote for an African-American."

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
