There are an awful lot of people here who don't think a woman can win...

...they’ve supported Biden or Buttigieg or Booker or Steyer. I’ve seen it said that if my candidate of choice is nominated we’ll lose.

Sanders thinks men have an advantage in this political season...that sentiment has been shared by numerous posters here in terms of the treatment of our female candidates. So what’s the difference?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

1. I also think Sanders said it more like a personal opinion on the political climate

going into this presidential election.

I see both thoughts held by Sanders could easily be true. That he wanted Warren to run in 2016, AND that he thought in 2018 that the political climate created by Trump would make it tough for a woman to win.

I don’t get those trying to blow this up bigger than it deserves.

2. I'm a woman, and I supported HRC in both 2008 and 2016. I know a woman can win. But that doesn't

guarantee that any particular woman can win.

I'm supporting Biden because I believe he has the best chance of winning.

I just don't think any of the other candidates has as good a chance.

But the reason I don't think Warren has as good a chance ISN'T because of her gender. It's because she went too far left going after voters who supported Sanders.

I don't think either she or Sanders can win in November.

This election is like no other that I have voted in my lifetime. We need a candidate that appeals to people looking for a way to rid this country of Donald J Trump. Period. I know Republicans and others who are willing to vote for a Joe Biden type Democratic candidate. They do not feel the same about voting for a more progressive candidate, and some have said they will stay home (not vote) if Democrats nominate a very progressive candidate.

Either “I’ll vote for a woman, just not THAT woman” or “I don’t trust HIM not to listen to Pelosi and the blacks!”.

Hold your tongue, mind your manners, right?

Harris was my top choice. Many here said she didn't have a chance - many couldn't quite say why.
