Please read exactly what he said in response to the question he was asked.

As you might notice, that piece is dated December 30.

One might think that a 12/30 HuffPo article like that would have received considerable attention on DU.

Did you suppose it hadn’t already been beat to death here?

really, really stupid.

Do you want a candidate who will win? That means your candidate needs sometimes to say things that appeal to those who we didn't get the last time.

One statement of this kind "doing it for you" is a sad, sad commentary on your understanding of what it is going to take to get rid of the crook in the white house.

But you don’t need to call people names. I do think it shows he’s out of touch. But I know he also stumbles over words a lot. Maybe that’s what he did. Stop fighting with other Democrats. It’s counterproductive and it serves a purpose that hurts Democrats. I won’t call you stupid for your response. You’re entitled to disagree.

turns you against Democratic candidates.

I'm not fighting with other Democrats. I'm fighting with people who are splitting hairs and taking things out of context in order to find a lame excuse to reject Democratic candidates. I WILL keep doing that, thank you just the same.

That took a lot of thought and deliberation..

But the whole "out of touch" crap has been sufficiently ridiculed here, so I will not get into it, except to say that Biden, according to Biden, will indeed CONSIDER a Republican running mate when he can ever think of one. Or when hell freezes over, whichever comes first.

What difference does it make when I saw it? When I saw it, I thought it was amazing that he would even consider a Republican running mate given the corruption and cover up Republicans have engaged in. I posted this when I saw it. And I STILL think it shows he’s out of touch.
