That being said - he will decide if he should enter the primary and the voters will decide if they want to select him.

The goal is to destroy the Democratic party in a stupid hope that it will turn far left and become socialist the way Sirota wants it.
No true Democrat should stand for these dirty tricks.

It also shouldn't disqualify him, but I'm betting in the end, it will.

(42,862 posts)I believe Sanders owes the American people ten years worth of his and Jane's full tax returns. He promised that they'd be released "soon" but that was about a month ago. This is starting to look like a great big "fuck you" aimed squarely at the voters and the other candidates. It's starting to look like they're hiding something. By not releasing their tax returns and making excuse after excuse and giving us delay after delay, it's like they're pleading the fifth. Obviously it's not proof positive of any wrongdoing, but it certainly does look suspicious.
Look, if those tax returns have been submitted to the IRS, then they are ALREADY COMPLETE... aside from blacking out some SSN's they're ready to go. So what's the hang-up? What's the delay?
All I'm saying is that the American people deserve to see proof that someone they're considering voting for is NOT a tax-cheat. People deserve to know where the money is coming from, where it's being invested/saved (domestically or in an off-shore tax haven) and we deserve to know more about a candidate's moral character and what's important to them by seeing which charities they donate to and support.
If he's not going to release his taxes (and I don't believe he will) then he should step aside.

And, Flores' version of what Biden did doesn't hold up..
Event organizer: Biden, accuser were never alone together
Yet at no time were these two leaders alone together and I, and the organization I cofounded and those in attendance, do not believe that circumstances support allegations that such an event took place, he added.

(3,259 posts)Biden has inherent sexist tendencies that are more prevalent in his age group.
I find dismissing that fact, and it is a fact, to be the problem. Writing it off as the usual suspects or someone with an agenda is to dismiss the most prevalent form of sexism seen in society today.
Its going to be overblown by some with an agenda. Its fair to speak about that. Its wrong to use it as a means to dismiss the societal issue as a whole and how Bidens actions feed into it. Its not sexual harassment. Its not even harassment. Calling out those claiming it is either of the two is fine. What he does have is a pattern of action that is demeaning to women, non-existent in male to male communication outside of the familial unit, and the most common form of sexist behavior seen in society today.
I think Biden is an extremely good man. His intentions in these encountters are good. He simply doesnt see the patriarchal, demeaning, and oppressive consequences of his actions. This is a one hundred percent learned behavior. The beauty of that is he is getting a lesson today and will be better for it.
Dismissing or calling out those with an agenda is fine. Using that as a way to dismiss the behavior is not.
Share your councel. It might be enlightening on the subject matter or more along personal lines.

When you say "It's and age thing," what with respect to age are you referencing if not a demeaning act?
I agree that a certain candidate is stirring shit up as well. I also know Biden's history. The two are not mutually exclusive and this isn't a singular event.

If Biden touched her shoulders and kissed her head and she was not comfortable with it- from my perspective I dont see it as a mark against Bidens candidacy. If hes the nominee Id be glad to support him.
