The person best able to unite the Country might not be the best for uniting the party.

Which of the remaining, candidate(s), has the ability to apply the most generous amount of the "$best grease$" to the most painful trigger spots of the Democratic body politic: To ease chronic Liberal/Moderate pain, apply a generous amount of remedy to at least 2 spots in every State as well as at the single Oval spot where migraines are created in Undecided Democratic voters. Medicine applied only at the Oval would be tantamount to anesthesia before surgery...and more post-surgical pain; there's a far different protocol for making a healthy microbiome that could heal a nation.

2. Bernie.

It's one of the reasons I support him. He has enough cross-over appeal with Republicans and Independents, especially in the midwestern states, that I think he could change quite a few people's minds about voting Republican in the future. At the very least, people view him as someone who cuts through the bull**** in Washington and respects him for that even if they don't necessarily agree with his policy positions.

He's also been using the term 'Crazy Bernie' more recently. He's not stupid. By claiming the DNC is "rigging" the primaries against Sanders, he's drying to divide the Democratic party.

on who can win enough states in November to beat trump. If you are supporting your "like", but they really can't win in November, why? In November more than Dems and left leaners will be voting. We are a Center/Left country. If we don't get their votes, say hello to trump's second term. I support Biden, because he can win. Biden running with a strong progressive Democrat woman, would be a winning ticket. Beating trump is my focus. Get a win in November or nothing moves our way.

that I wouldn't be surprised to see a liberal version of the tea party form as a result of this election.

As for the country? Hands down it's Yang.
