"Senator Bernie Sanders took to Twitter on Thursday to share his delight of receiving the endorsement of Joe Rogan.
In a Thursday tweet, Sanders shared a clip of Rogan from one of his recent podcasts in which he told New York Times columnist Bari Weiss hell probably support the Vermont senator in the Democratic primary.
I believe in him, I like him a lot, Rogan said.
The clip also seems to contain footage of Rogan dismissing the recent controversy from Sanders 2018 meeting with Elizabeth Warren where he supposedly told her a woman cant win the presidency."

Ebro calls out Joe Rogan after old video resurfaces of racist joke being made
<snip>
"Ebro has called out Joe Rogan after racist remarks the comedian appears to make in a video that has resurfaced from a previous interview. The radio host re-tweeted a video of Joe talking in an old interview and recalling when he went to see movie Planet of the Apes.
Ebro calls out Rogan for making a racist joke in the interview and tweeted alongside the video: Yall good with Joe Rogan? Im sure hell apologize, right?
Joe says in the clip: So I look at the iPhone app and it says, take me to this [movie theater]. The guy goes, OK,, I go, is that in a good neighbourhood? He says, yeah, yeah, yeah, he barely speaks English.
He takes us there, we get out and were giggling, Oh, were going to see Plant of the Apes. We walk into Planet of the Apes we walked into Africa, dude. We walked in the door and there was no white people.
Joe Rogan fans were quick to defend him, pointing out to Ebro that he is a comedian the video is years-old and the same joke might not be made today and that Joe himself later admitted his comment had been racist."

Its Time to End the Joe Rogan Experience
<snip>
"Throughout his thirty year career in entertainment, Joe Rogan has earned a legion of fans as the host of Fear Factor, the voice of the UFC, and through his appearance on MADtv. But despite these roles, hes mostly known as the host of the highly successful Joe Rogan Experience podcast, which is the eighth most downloaded podcast of any category.
In the years since his podcast debuted, Rogan has become one of the most influential celebrities in the United States, with Rolling Stone going as far as naming him, The 21st Century Timothy Leary. While many would claim that Rogans podcast is pure entertainment, Rogans rhetoric and choices of whom to associate his podcast with are harmful to his listeners and promote hysteria among his audience.
Throughout his podcasts history he, along with various guests, have constantly discussed and have given credence to various conspiracy theories. Rogan has proclaimed on his podcast that he believed that the Apollo astronauts did not land on the moon, that the United States government was behind the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and that the government found aliens in Roswell, New Mexico.
In addition, Rogan has spent countless hours dissecting the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center, providing various theories to who was truly behind the attacks and even saying, Ive got to go with controlled demolition, if I had to, one way or the other. I absolutely dont know. But I would not be surprised if it was proven that it was a controlled demolition.
<snip>
"Rogan, whether he is aware of it or not, is promoting alt-right figures and their ideology through his podcast. His list of guests include Alex Jones, Milos Yiannopoulos and Steven Crowder, all of whom have espoused rhetoric that is factually inaccurate and who deliberately instill fear or hatred for their own benefit.
Rogan disclosed his fondness for Alex Jones in a discussion with Steven Crowder by saying he is an interesting and entertaining person. This description is a seal of approval to a man who actively promotes theories that tragedies such as Sandy Hook and the Las Vegas shooting are false flag operations by the United States government in order to hoodwink his audience into buying marked up products sold directly by Jones himself, as seen in John Olivers piece about his methods. (58,785 posts)Before the internet, he portrayed himself on MSNBC and CNN as a kind and gentle intellectual conservative, a posture the MSM facilitated. It took the racists and various creeps coming out of the woodwork in enough numbers to get press coverage to reveal what those enthusiastic supporters found so appealing in him.
Once that came out, eventually the media started covering his racism for what it was and he was exiled from the talk shows, but that was AFTER he was no longer a presidential candidate.
Not that racism is Sanders' issue. He has others the media are still mostly glossing over or ignoring, though. Just like 'ol Pat. Sanders is all about healthcare, mostly just like the others.

"People in my state have been hunting its part of the culture of the state of Vermont, its part of the culture of New Hampshire, and I believe in that culture."
Sanders: "I Believe" In Hunting Culture (12/11/2015)
<snip>
"Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said in a radio interview Friday that he believes in the hunting culture of states like Vermont, his home state, and New Hampshire, where he is leading Hillary Clinton in primary polls.
"Absolutely, it is," Sanders said when New Hampshire radio host Jack Heath noted that gun ownership was "a pretty coveted" right in Vermont.
"I believe, you know, people in my state have been huntingit's part of the culture of the state of Vermont, it's part of the culture of New Hampshire, and I believe in that culture," Sanders continued. "But I also will tell you that most gun owners understand that guns should not be held by people who are criminals or by people who have serious mental issues."

Loved this snippet.
Dodging 2015:
"Sanders also said his team was still working on figuring out the specifics of his income tax proposal, which he said would "hit just the very wealthiest people in our nation."
When Sanders went on Heath's show in July, he told the host he would give him a "definitive answer" on income tax in "two or three weeks."
Dodging 2019:
"Sanders hasn't provided a comprehensive analysis of how much the plan -- which he reintroduced last week with expanded long-term care benefits that will add to the price tag -- will cost or how how he will pay for it."

Sanders abrupt reversal represented a misstep for Vermont senator and presidential candidate. The California arm of his campaign was warned about Uygur's past comments and urged the national campaign to stay out of the race, sources told POLITICO.
But Sanders endorsed Uygur regardless. His intervention created turmoil on the ground in Californias 25th Congressional district, a seat that Democrats flipped in 2018 but is now vacant after Democrat Katie Hill resigned amid allegations of sexual impropriety.''
snip//
Similar denunciations poured forth again following Sanders endorsement on Thursday. Even supporters of the Vermont senator expressed dismay that the progressive standard-bearer would back a candidate, in Uygur, with a problematic history. Local activists also groused that, unlike Smith, Uygur does not live in the district.

The Social Security hit was a joke. If you're going to accuse someone of cutting Social Security there should be an instance where they cut Social Security. Makes sense. Twisting words to fit a false narrative bit them in the ass.
The no handshake at the debate was bad for them.
And as soon as Bernie put up the Joe Rogan video, Twitter went nuts. It was brutal. A disaster.
All in all it couldn't have happened to a nicer group of people.
I was checking 538 for something else. Went through real quick. Bernie is up in 5 states, 4 by 1.0 or less. NH is the only decent lead. 4.3 I think.
Warren is up in 4 states. Minn., Mass., Mont, and I forget the other.
