Gabbard tells Fox that Clinton's 'Russian asset' remark is 'taking my life away'

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) told Fox News on Thursday that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is taking her "life away" with her "Russian asset" remark.

"This is my life that we're talking about here," Gabbard said on "Tucker Carlson Tonight."

"For me as a soldier, as every service member does, I took an oath of loyalty to our country — the country that I love, willing to put my life on the line for our country — deploying twice to the Middle East to do so," said Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination.

"So when you have someone as powerful as Hillary Clinton seeking to smear my reputation and essentially implying that I'm a traitor to the country that I love, what she essentially is doing is taking my life away," she added.

Gabbard announced this week she was suing Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, for $50 million in damages after Clinton said on a podcast that Gabbard was "a favorite of the Russians" and was "totally" a "Russian asset."

Gabbard also explained how she came to the $50 million number she is seeking in an interview with reporters on the campaign trail. Footage of the moment was posted to Twitter by NBC News.

She was known to be receiving Russian assistance, which gave credence to the suspicion that she was the candidate our intelligence services warned Putin was planning to build a third-party split around. Who else? Sanders?

She NEVER denounced Russia and all occult assistance. Instead, she acted as a Russian asset would, even taking pro-Russia positions and stating Russian propaganda just as Trump did.

We don't know what Hillary knows that she hasn't said, but I predict this lawsuit will either be dropped, the way all Sanders' were once the press had moved on, or that it will go badly for her.

Btw, so far no third-party candidacy has surfaced. Perhaps Putin's plans hit a roadblock.

Gabbard will not run as a third-party candidate because she would only draw voters away from Trump, ensuring a Democratic victory.

For this reason, her handlers will not allow her to run as a third party candidate. They would not want a Democrat in the White House.

Would that it was only the right.

Add in major social media campaigns, Russia-Repub and anti-Democrat left, encouraging people to vote for her in rejection of the corrupt Democrats who are betraying them and probably once again "rigging" elections against Sanders, and you have another splinter subverting the Democratic Primary.

That Democrats stole the last election from Sanders is a religious-strength belief for some, so that I'm not sure he needs to lie about it nearly as much this time. On other forums, they're already expecting it and eager to assume massive election theft wherever a solid majority doesn't choose their leader.
