Bernie now odds on favorite by 5c over Biden to take Iowa.
Same for overall.
The betting markets have decided, Bernie is the Democratic nominee.

(2,897 posts)We've gone from Biden to Harris to Warren to Buttigieg and now to Sanders "surging" in Iowa and 40% of the electorate is still willing to change.
With 7 points between first and second and 25% (off the topline) that needs to realign, a small shift could change the race.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

(14,174 posts)Because that is true with a lot of ridings. With different candidates.
OF COURSE that support could slip. But it could also go up. Why even mention that other than some kind of Freudian slip about what that paper's editorialists hope will happen?

(2,897 posts)You can get cheerleading from "The Intercept", but if you want a write up on a poll w/ 40% willing tochange in an very volatile race, you're going to get an acknowledgement on the degree of uncertainty. The statement acknowledges a measured variable that could help or hurt Sanders.
