No one should have to watch a loved one die because they don't have health insurance. (Original Post) Uncle Joe Jan 2020 OP
For some reason, many Americans don't want people to have health coverage. Hence the MFA opposition. LonePirate Jan 2020 #1

No, M4a is DOA. There are lots of ways to achieve affordable coverage for all and allow those Thekaspervote Jan 2020 #7
So you don't support universal coverage for everyone. Interesting reversal. LonePirate Jan 2020 #9
There is no way the ACA can be expanded to cover everyone. Simply impossible. LonePirate Jan 2020 #14

I guess they are OK with other people watching their loved ones die so long as they don't have to experience it themselves.

they just passed a bipartisan spending bill that will have over a trillion dollar deficit for the year ,the dems got maternity leave for federal workers included, I have seen no one ask....how will we pay for that?

That want to keep their private health insurance to do so. The ACA is law, and can be expanded upon to include everyone

If you think M4a is doable, then tell us all how it will become law and then how to pay for it...seriously

....than they're paying now OR have their plan taken away from them and replaced by something that hasn't been proven it will work. Many Americans (most maybe?) were happy when the ACA passed and were looking forward to it being expanded.

Perhaps they should educate themselves of the MFA plans that have been released. But I guess it is easier to believe lies and contrarian propaganda.

....that have been floated are lacking details and to many "risky" compared to what's available now.

The "MFA plans" that have been released have lots of holes in them. Even Sanders, when asked a day or two ago how he was going to pay for it, replied "I don't know". That's not a good endorsement of HIS plan.

Put out some details, specify exactly how it's going to be funded, and people will educate themselves. But as they stand today, no one can truly do that.

Democratic Party platform: "Democrats have been fighting to secure universal health care for the American people for generations ... . We are going to fight to make sure every American has access to quality affordable health care. ... Democrats believe that health care is a right, not a privilege, and our health care system always puts people before profits."

He knows this.
